Over the past five and a half years she has experienced baby loss, adopting her own and surrogacy to another.
She has been an amazing person in my life; quick to love, slow to judge. Always there with open arms, never with expectations.
Although our friendship has always had physical distance, she has been an amazing friend in my life for many years.
After her surrogacy journey early this year (see below)
my dear friend Angela found out she was battling cancer. It took awhile for us all to find out but we were all devastated.
I wanted today to follow up with some photos of pictures we took before she started chemo
as a way to lift her spirits during this time of illness.
Today also would have been the first day of school for Baby E- the son she lost.
But amist the sadness and pain, today we celebrate as the first round of chemo has been successful.
Because if you can’t tell by these photos, her kids would be lost without her.
We never really think about things like this until they hit us upside the head.
She told me the baby girl she had in my blog post ^ for the other couple was her miracle.
Had she not had that baby, she would not have found out so soon.
To her that baby girl represents life and miracles.
To us, she represents being able to have our beloved Angela a part of our lives that much longer.
And to everyone who meets her or is loved by her, there is no denying that Angela’s presence in our lives is not an option.
I’m so happy that you are this much closer to a clean bill of health, Ang.
I make no secret on my website & Facebook how much you mean to me and those around you.
Don’t ever forget how much you are loved.
